Recently, The WorkSource added WorkInTexas.com to its many employment services. The new statewide database gives residents the opportunity to do online job searches, save these searches, receive up to the minute job listings, do salary comparisons and receive e-mail notification when there is a resume' to job match. The system is state-of-the-art, but being new there are a few technical issues that need to be resolved.

“Ask The WorkSource” has received messages from customers regarding these issues. Here are answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). We hope they will help resolve any problem you may be having. Please let us know if you have any other questions and someone will get back with you as soon as possible.

FAQs

Question: When I am typing in information, how do I make the type size bigger?
Answer: You can adjust the font size by holding down the CTRL key and using the roller on your mouse to make the image bigger or smaller.
   
Question: I cannot log on even though I have a USER ID and PASSWORD. What do I need to do?
Answer: Check and see if your Internet browser is set to reject cookies. If so and you are running Windows, go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced and adjust/enable cookies.
   
Question: I cannot see any contact information on the job posting. What do I need to do?
Answer: You are probably looking at a posting that has been set to Must Match Exactly and your occupational information is not matching exactly.
